About Us
It started with a dog's name.
A few years ago, my husband built a plasma table in our garage as a project. His first cut? A simple metal sign with our dog's name on it. We hung it in our garage, and almost immediately, our friends started asking, "Where did you get that? Can you make me one?"
That spark turned into East to West Metal Works.
What began in a garage has grown into a professional workshop in Fort McMurray, Alberta. But the philosophy hasn't changed. We don't mass-produce cheap tin signs. We craft heavy-duty, heirloom-quality metal art that tells a story.
The Artisan Difference Every piece you order is:
- Precision Cut: Using advanced CNC technology for perfect detail.
- Hand-Finished: Cleaned, prepped, and inspected by hand.
- Powder Coated: Finished with an industrial-grade coating that withstands Canadian winters without rusting or fading.
Whether it's a memorial for a beloved pet, a welcome sign for your camp, or a custom piece for your business, I take pride in making sure it’s perfect before it leaves my shop.
Thank you for supporting Canadian craftsmanship.
